Hutch has already overcome more hardship than a dog ever should. He was picked up by Animal Control covered in hundreds of painful foxtails embedded deep in his fur. He was in such severe discomfort that much of his top coat had to be shaved to help him heal.

Hutch has remained incredibly loving and trusting. Now safe and recovering, his playful personality is shining through more every day. He absolutely loves toys, enjoys splashing and playing in water, and thrives on affection from his people. Hutch also gets along well with other friendly dogs and would likely enjoy a canine companion.

Beneath his tough beginning is a gentle, affectionate soul who is ready for comfort, companionship, and a forever family that will cherish him the way he deserves.

Home Visit

WWe require a home visit prior to any dog being placed. In some cases, we may accept a virtual home visit using photos and videos.

Adoption Donation for All Dogs and Puppies:

$495

This donation is tax-deductible as allowed by law and helps to offset the costs that we have incurred for the dog’s care and housing during his or her stay with our group. The minimum adoption donation does not entirely cover the investments that we have made in the dogs, so if you are in a position to give more, we would be honored to receive your additional donation. All adoption donations go directly toward the needs of our dogs.

All dogs adopted through GSROC are spayed or neutered, current on their vaccines and de-wormed. Because the minimum Adoption Donation rarely covers the costs associated with each dog, we ask that adopters who are in a position to give additional funds do so at their discretion.
