Some dogs make an impression the moment you meet them, and JJ is one of those dogs. He’s an extra-large German Shepherd with a gentle heart, a playful spirit, and an endless desire to make his people happy.

JJ is a strong boy who is continuing to work on his leash manners. Once out of the kennel he is capable of walking nicely with friendly dogs. His favorite moments are spent playing fetch, carrying around his toys, or happily chewing on a bone. When playtime is over, JJ is just as happy soaking up attention and being close to the people he loves.

JJ is looking for a family that will appreciate his big size, continue his training, and give him the love and structure he deserves. In return, he’ll reward you with unwavering loyalty, plenty of laughs, and a heart full of devotion. Home Visit

WWe require a home visit prior to any dog being placed. In some cases, we may accept a virtual home visit using photos and videos.

Adoption Donation for All Dogs and Puppies:

$495

This donation is tax-deductible as allowed by law and helps to offset the costs that we have incurred for the dog’s care and housing during his or her stay with our group. The minimum adoption donation does not entirely cover the investments that we have made in the dogs, so if you are in a position to give more, we would be honored to receive your additional donation. All adoption donations go directly toward the needs of our dogs.

All dogs adopted through GSROC are spayed or neutered, current on their vaccines and de-wormed. Because the minimum Adoption Donation rarely covers the costs associated with each dog, we ask that adopters who are in a position to give additional funds do so at their discretion.
