Maverick is a big, strong, and joyful goofball who lives life at full speed. Whether he’s sprinting through the yard in full zoomie mode, splashing around in the hose, chasing a ball with laser focus, or diving into a pool, Maverick brings 100% energy and enthusiasm to everything he does.

This fun-loving guy lives for playtime and outdoor adventures, and he’d thrive with someone who appreciates an active lifestyle. He’s great with people and always happy to make new human friends, but due to his size and strength, a home without small children is best.

Maverick needs to work on brushing up his leash manners—he’s eager and strong, so a confident handler is important. He wants to be your one and only dog, and with his huge personality and love for people, you won’t need another!

If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, you may submit an application online or via fax. If you choose to send a fax, please download the Adoption Application here in PDF format; fill it out and sign it. You can fax it to us at 714-773-9430.

Home Visit

WWe require a home visit prior to any dog being placed. In some cases, we may accept a virtual home visit using photos and videos.

Adoption Donation for All Dogs and Puppies:

$495

This donation is tax-deductible as allowed by law and helps to offset the costs that we have incurred for the dog’s care and housing during his or her stay with our group. The minimum adoption donation does not entirely cover the investments that we have made in the dogs, so if you are in a position to give more, we would be honored to receive your additional donation. All adoption donations go directly toward the needs of our dogs.

All dogs adopted through GSROC are spayed or neutered, current on their vaccines and de-wormed. Because the minimum Adoption Donation rarely covers the costs associated with each dog, we ask that adopters who are in a position to give additional funds do so at their discretion.
