Adoption Application

He’s extremely food motivated, which makes him a fun and rewarding training partner. So far, he’s already mastered sit and shake, and with his smarts and enthusiasm, there’s no doubt more skills are on the way. Rocky is still learning how to walk nicely on leash and how to play, so he can get a bit excitable, but that’s all part of his charming, goofy personality.

Rocky enjoys other friendly, well-mannered dogs and would love a canine buddy to play with, especially an older, confident dog who can show him the ropes. He’ll happily chase a ball, even if he hasn’t quite figured out the “bring it back” part yet.

With guidance, consistency, and plenty of love, Rocky is going to grow into an incredible companion. If you’re looking for a smart, playful young shepherd who’s ready to learn and bond, Rocky might be your perfect match.

Home Visit

WWe require a home visit prior to any dog being placed. In some cases, we may accept a virtual home visit using photos and videos.

Adoption Donation for All Dogs and Puppies:

$495

This donation is tax-deductible as allowed by law and helps to offset the costs that we have incurred for the dog’s care and housing during his or her stay with our group. The minimum adoption donation does not entirely cover the investments that we have made in the dogs, so if you are in a position to give more, we would be honored to receive your additional donation. All adoption donations go directly toward the needs of our dogs.

All dogs adopted through GSROC are spayed or neutered, current on their vaccines and de-wormed. Because the minimum Adoption Donation rarely covers the costs associated with each dog, we ask that adopters who are in a position to give additional funds do so at their discretion.
