Zeus is an absolutely stunning German Shepherd with a soft heart and a gentle soul. After being left alone in a backyard, barking for help until neighbors complained, Zeus was ultimately dumped—an unfair start for such a young dog who was only trying to be heard.

Naturally shy at first, Zeus is learning that the world doesn’t have to be scary. He wants to trust, and every day he’s coming a little more out of his shell. Though fearful, Zeus is not aggressive in any way—he’s simply a sensitive boy who needs patience, reassurance, and time to feel safe.

Zeus responds very well to nice, friendly dogs and gains confidence around calm canine companions. With kindness and consistency, his sweet, gentle nature shines, and he forms quiet, meaningful bonds with the people who earn his trust.

Home Visit

WWe require a home visit prior to any dog being placed. In some cases, we may accept a virtual home visit using photos and videos.

Adoption Donation for All Dogs and Puppies:

$495

This donation is tax-deductible as allowed by law and helps to offset the costs that we have incurred for the dog’s care and housing during his or her stay with our group. The minimum adoption donation does not entirely cover the investments that we have made in the dogs, so if you are in a position to give more, we would be honored to receive your additional donation. All adoption donations go directly toward the needs of our dogs.

All dogs adopted through GSROC are spayed or neutered, current on their vaccines and de-wormed. Because the minimum Adoption Donation rarely covers the costs associated with each dog, we ask that adopters who are in a position to give additional funds do so at their discretion.
