Zulu was confiscated by Animal Control when his owner was neglecting him. They were living in a dilapidated RV, and Zulu was not receiving proper care. When he arrived, he was covered with fleas, and was missing fur all along his back and tail. He has an indelible scar from wearing a muzzle that was too small.

Zulu belonged to a homeless man and was confiscated when his owner was arrested. Zulu was confiscated by Animal Control when his owner was neglecting him. They were living in a dilapidated RV, and Zulu was not receiving proper care. When he arrived, he was covered with fleas, and was missing fur all along his back and tail. He has an indelible scar from wearing a muzzle that was too small.

Zulu is shy with new people, but he is watching, learning, and beginning to trust. He checks in with his caregivers, looks for attention, and is showing us little glimpses of the dog he will become. He isn’t reactive, he simply needs time, patience, and someone willing to help him feel safe.

Zulu is under Urgent. He has spent enough time simply surviving. Now he deserves the chance to learn what it feels like to be loved.

Home Visit

WWe require a home visit prior to any dog being placed. In some cases, we may accept a virtual home visit using photos and videos.

Adoption Donation for All Dogs and Puppies:

$495

This donation is tax-deductible as allowed by law and helps to offset the costs that we have incurred for the dog’s care and housing during his or her stay with our group. The minimum adoption donation does not entirely cover the investments that we have made in the dogs, so if you are in a position to give more, we would be honored to receive your additional donation. All adoption donations go directly toward the needs of our dogs.

All dogs adopted through GSROC are spayed or neutered, current on their vaccines and de-wormed. Because the minimum Adoption Donation rarely covers the costs associated with each dog, we ask that adopters who are in a position to give additional funds do so at their discretion.
