GSROC rescues approximately 50% of the dogs in our care from public animal shelters. Because of the nature of the shelter environment and the abundance of animals that do not have proper immunization protection, many of the dogs from shelters arrive with kennel cough, pneumonia, influenza and other health conditions that require immediate attention. Other dogs arrive with broken limbs, de-gloving injuries, serious skin conditions, and parasite infestation that require hospitalization or possibly round-the-clock attention. In order to continue to provide the best veterinary care available for these seriously ill dogs, we rely on the support of caring individuals. At this time, the following dogs are all receiving care in one of our preferred veterinary hospitals.
