A good samaritan spotted Megan living on her own in their neighborhood. Some thought she was a coyote, because of her sleek tall body, but upon a closer look, he realized she was indeed a German Shepherd! No telling how long she had been on her own.
After many attempts of catching her, he and a few neighbors were able to lure her to safety. GSROC was contacted, and we were able to bring her in to one of our vets to make sure she was safe and healthy. Megan is now trying to gain some much need weight, as she was apparently starving for quite some time.
Despite living on her own, she did not lose her ability to love people! She doesn’t have a mean bone in her body, and is a total sweetheart. She will need a secure yard, as she is quite the athlete.
If you are interested in meeting her, please contact Debbie and johnandebhancock@aol.com and complete an application online.
