Izzy was born January 18, 2007 and was purchased from a breeder when she was only 8 weeks old. The 14 year old daughter in the family promised to care for Izzy. After the initial thrill of having a puppy wore off, the teenager lost interest. The family didn’t have time for this loyal and loving dog and was going to take her to a cold shelter.
GSROC was contacted and we just couldn’t bear to let this puppy go to a cold and scary shelter where she would be exposed to kennel cough and run out of time and be euthanized.
