Buffy’s plight came to our attention when an alert shelter volunteer contacted us. In spite of her sweet nature and young age, poor Buffy was facing possible euthanasia due to shelter overcrowding.
Buffy arrived disturbingly thin and we are working to put some weight on her. She loves people and enjoys attention, but she was not socialized well with other dogs in her past life. Our dedicated volunteers are working with Buffy to help her learn to trust other dogs. Buffy is looking for a very active, yet very patient home with a guardian who will continue with her obedience training. She is athletic and graceful, and she loves going on walks, so someone who enjoys hiking or jogging would have a great companion.
